One thing you can do to get the whole family involved in your own back garden is to build a simple bee hotel to keep your friendly flyers warm over the winter time.
With bee population declining to a worrying level, there has been a call for citizens to play their part by building these bee hotels, which can act as a safe refuge for our bees.

Industries have created large industrial hotels which house thousands of bees but even housing one or two bees in your back garden will still make a huge difference.
